With that in mind, our process is uniquely suited for folks who need to produce quality work without breaking the bank.
Our services include event coverage (photo & video), professional photography, and video production. If it involves a camera & lens and/or editing services for marketers, we can provide it.
Our standard process for projects is outlined below:
1. Identify Your Need
The first step is identifying the needs of your project. We usually accomplish this with a brief phone conversation, or an e-mail exchange. Very often the projects are of a nature we’re able to provide straightforward pricing for. Anything from a short “about us” film, corporate documentary, event recap, professional photography, or headshots.
Sometimes bigger projects require some more deep-diving to make sure all production elements are accounted for. Our philosophy is to keep things as simple and economical as possible, and our specialty is making productions appear much bigger than their budgets!
Once we’re on the same page, we move to the next step.
2. Quote or Contract
We’re really against nickle-and-diming, and keeping to an original estimate or quote is very important to us. We do a great job of making sure everyone understands the process of the project, and how proper collaboration will keep us on time, on budget, and with everyone happy along every step of the way.
Projects under $10,000 have a very standard-issue contract or quote approval process. Larger projects have more involved, detailed terms and timelines included in an easy-to-read format so everyone’s expectations are aligned for success.
3. We Make It
Once the quote is approved and/or the contract signed, we get to work on producing the content for you.
We make sure we’re collaborating with you along every step of the way.
While collaboration is a two-way street, we believe it is our responsibility to drive the process and do our best to be consultative partners with you, to ensure your needs and those of your stakeholders are properly met throughout the entire journey.
Our rates start as modestly as 200/hr, with 3 hour minimums for events and 5 hour minimums for commercial production or applications.
Most projects end up costing between 2000 and 5000 USD.
For more ambitious projects, brand films or campaign pieces involving props, locations and talent, budgets of 12,000 to 50,000 are common.
